  • Host of a weekly public affairs chat program featuring members of non-profit organizations, medical professionals, entertainers and front line workers.
  • Contact and book guests using public relations agencies and cold calls.
  • Write brief introductions of the guests, topics and questions arranged in a thoughtful order.
  • Engage in professional, informative and interesting recorded conversations with interviewees live and in person or via telephone or Zoom.
  • Edit interviews using Adobe Audition removing extraneous noises, long pauses and superfluous conversation unrelated to the arc of the conversation. Add opening and closing theme music and stingers when appropriate.
  • Create three different thirty second promotional clips for every episode to air on three radio stations.
  • Provide audio clips and episode briefs to the Promotions Director for use on social media. My clips have routinely generated twice as many views as other video clips on the WAVA Facebook page.
  • Upload programs to podcast page (www.WAVA.com/podcast) and include summaries of each episode and website information of guests.
  • When available, utilize audio outtakes from interviews to create bonus podcast only clips.
