Hello I'm Tom. I turned 40 this year and started working in my first restaurant in Colorado as a dishwasher when I was 13. Since then I have traveled to 48 states and several nations and have worked in the restaurant industry for the majority of this time. I have also worked as an itinerant lecturer, professional rock climber and snowboarder, English teacher and life coach. I went to culinary school in Montana and have too much experience not to have my own operation at this point. Divorce, losing a child, sick parents and other things have shown up without warning and I've had to adapt. I am a great fellow. I am a genuine people loving, positive force in the universe. I take responsibility for my mistakes and growth and transparency are very important to me. I'm really motivated to find a good bartending job. I can say a lot of stuff to sell myself to you. However, in my experience words are just words. When words match behavior it's a beautiful thing. I'd like you to take a shot and see how I work in your place, because I'm really, really good behind the bar! I've got the experience, the speed, the intuitive eyes that see everything happening everywhere in the place all at once; but I'm best at talking to people and making them feel valued and taken care of. My biggest selling point is my heart. You can't fake authenticity and I can't hide the fact I love to serve other people and I'm a rock-star at it! Appreciate your time and consideration.
