Member is a qualified import Officer of the Day and is involved in a one man, twenty four hour duty rotation maintaining Cutter's mooring lines, ships liquid load capabilities, online machinery and it's spaces, as well as overseeing crew/ cutter evolutions.
As a collateral Member is the Cutter Surface rescue swimmer for his cutter and has maintained this qualification since the fall of 2022
Member is a qualified AMIO watch stander (Alien Migrant Interdiction Operations) and has since held this qualification since 2022. Member has played a vital and pivotal role in Operation Vigilant Sentry, member has dealt with and stood watch over an estimated three thousand migrants, has done dozens of migrant transfers with other USCG platforms, and has repatriated at least half of them to Cuba or Haiti.

During his time at Cape Cod as a Third Class Petty Officer, member worked for the Joint Base USCGC housing unit that specialized in maintaining and overhauling houses and multi family homes.
Member was a qualified Engineer of the watch for the Coast Guard Sector Base and was responsible for doing rounds of the maintenance rooms, and fire suppression systems, all while being on call for housing/ base emergencies.
While stationed at this unit Member learned a copious amount of skills such as roofing, installation of walls and drywall, installation of furnaces, water heaters, floating and hard wood flooring, bathroom overhauls, plumbing, and door replacement/ repairing.
Minimized risks of hazardous material incidents through proper storage and handling techniques. Member was in charge of the HAZMAT lockers, SDS inventory, as well as organization of the various Hazardous materials.

Member was a Third Class Damage Controlman Petty Officer on board USCGC Venturous from September of 2019, to March 2020 and took part in a two month deployment to the Eastern Pacific for counter drug interdictions.
Member was medically re-assigned to Sector St. Petersburg in March of 2020 until found physically fit for full duty and later re-assigned to Sector Base Cape Cod.
While at Sector St. Petersburg, Member was tasked with preforming maintenance at the local Coast Guard Station.
Duties involved maintaining the Base roads and grounds, facilities, and member held the qualification of Junior Officer of the day and was responsible for base security.
