• Policy & procedure development
• Development and management of staffing
• Development, management, and application of budgets
• Responding to and correcting any equipment malfunction
• Recognizing and correcting artifacts in physiological and transduced signals
• Staff training and competency evaluation
• Oversight of safety and regulatory guidelines
• Assures timely billing and appropriate coding of billed procedures
• Interacts with the physicians, medical director, and senior management
• Recognizing, documenting and characterizing clinical and electrographic seizures
• Recognizing and responding to critical events occurring during polysomnographic monitoring of cardiac arrhythmias, oxygen desaturation, chest pain, breathing distress, seizures or other abnormal EEG activity with or without significant motor activity
• Assures program meets accreditation and regulatory standards
• Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision to analyze complex situations and apply policy.
• Assist the medical director and/or manager in all aspects of sleep center operations
