I create the canvase from cotton cloth, glue and clay, stretched in a wooden frame.
I lay out the central deity and surounding figures requested by client, using only the exact geometry lconography, measurements, proportions, gestures clarified in the sacred scrirtures.
Finalise sketch with filling in the surounding natural environment , sky earth, clouds flowers, mountains waters and offerings.
The painting commences with hand made paints of only timeless natural earth minerals and gem stone powders, and animal skin glue.
The figures colors are symbolic and predetermined by the cannon . Fost the base color is painted, then conture shading is applied. Outlining and fine details of hair, jewelry and facial features follow. Finally the genuine gold paint details are added on alll fabrics, to highlight leaves, rocjks and jewelry.
The pupils of the eyes are painted last while reciting the appropriate mantra and the uppee 3 chakras of each deity are " opened" in tge revers of each figure.
Finally the painting is sewn into a brocade hanging scroll format mount with silk curtain over painting and dowel rods on top and bottom that facilitate hanging and rolling up when being transpirted.
