Thomas Elledge

I have over 30 years of law enforcement experience, of which, the last 16 have been in various management roles, mainly depending on the unit missions. My assignment as the Unit Commander for the Violent Incident and Planned Early Response Unit (V.I.P.E.R.) allowed me to manage and lead a motivated team of officers whose mission was to interdict, disrupt, prevent, and arrest violent criminal offenders. I became very proficient at utilizing data and predictive analytics to lead the unit to areas that ensured mission success. I also had the opportunity to work with multiple federal agencies and departments during this time.

My assignment as the Special Operations Traffic Services Commander further developed my administrative skills and continued to sharpen my analytical skills while developing four junior supervisors. This assignment encompassed multiple units within Special Operations, required frequent interaction, and working relations with agencies throughout the state.

Job Coordinator/ Scheduler

• 2018 to 2023, I was the Job Coordinator/Scheduler for CMB Executive Protection. CMB provides off duty police officers for traffic management, logistics, and site security all across Georgia. The job required management of requests from over 300 officers and development of multiple systems to track various vendors and job locations throughout the state.

Traffic Operations Manager

• 2020 to 2022, I was one of the traffic and logistics managers for all of the traffic operations surrounding Truist Park. This included managing Braves ingress/egress traffic, special events, and other activities on the Battery Atlanta footprint.

Security Operations Liaison

• 2010 to 2017, I was the department liaison for Security Operations and Loss Prevention for Six Flags Atlanta Properties. I assisted with site preparation, scheduling of resources, and management for large scale events.

• While employed by ABG Group I was able to reduce internal theft and losses by more than Twenty Percent in my first year through implementation of additional tools, investigation, and compliance to policies.
• Completed the FBI LEEDA training for law enforcement supervisors and managers.
• Excel and Microsoft Suite certified.
• Received a Bureau Commendation from the Cobb County Chief of Police for accomplishments while I was the VIPER Unit Commander.
• P.O.S.T. Certified Instructor and regular instructor for Instructor candidates and mandate students.
• Invited to teach at the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia (PAC) yearly training sessions.
• Recognized by the South Cobb Business Association several times for work with elementary students and student athletes.
