Recommendations

Letter of Recommendation - Justin Green, Owner, Alaska Demolition, Anchorage, AK, - provided January 12, 2018 in regards to our work together contracting (1998- 2005).

I am writing this letter on behalf of Thomas Fidler to encourage future contractors, owners, organizations, or government entities who may have the opportunity to work with Mr. Fidler to do so. I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Fidler for 20 years now and I had the honor to work with him on numerous local, state and federal projects from 1998- 2005. I worked with Mr. Fidler in the capacity of a subcontractor and as a prime contractor. During that time, we developed a close working relationship and built a solid foundation of trust between us that was never compromised. I can say without question Mr. Fidler is a professional that is willing to go to great lengths to fulfill and ensure that his responsibilities are met.

When I had Mr. Fidler or his company onsite of a project, I knew with complete confidence that the work he was responsible for would be done with quality, on schedule, within regulations, and policy or expectations specific to that project's specifications. Whether working in a capacity above or under Mr. Fidler I could expect completion of project milestones in a timely manner and forthright, honest, and comprehensive communication concerning changes in the scope of work or expectations. Mr. Fidler proved himself as an excellent negotiator who is both fair and honest in his dealings, always striving to be transparent in his dealings.

If you are considering Mr. Fidler for the position of a Project Manager or Project Administrator, I encourage you to stop considering and act. For you will find Mr. Fidler to be the complete package, experienced, well rounded, reliable and dedicated…few, if any will compete with Mr. Fidler's overall abilities and skills as an efficient and worthy manager. If you have any questions or would like to verify with me anything I have stated above, I will happily take your phone call. I look forward to discussing with you my experience working the many years that I did with Mr. Fidler on numerous successful projects.

Letter of Recommendation - James Farley, IT Director, Alaska Tech Services, ANCHORAGE, AK. - Provided April 2018 in regards to my employment with his firm (2013 - 2015)

To whom it may concern, Thomas Fidler worked under me at Alaska Tech Services from October 20, 2013 - December 31st, 2015. During his tenure he worked in the capacity as a Systems Administrator. His duties included but were not limited to: - Desktop Support. Windows Applications, EMR applications, and various other hardware/software technologies. - Network support. - Microsoft Exchange support. - VM support - Microsoft Server Support (various versions) He was involved with many different software, and hardware upgrades\migrations.

Tom was a very dedicated employee, one that I could count on to be onsite on time and had the skillsets to get the job done. If he lacked the knowledge for a specific task, he was the one that knew how to find the answer and was willing to go above and beyond to achieve the task at hand. Tom was also very personal and interacted with our clients in a friendly and professional manner, and conveyed technology in a manner they could understand. This is sometimes hard to find in an applicant in my experience. Unfortunately, Tom was given an offer that included benefits, and being a small business, we were not able to provide those at that time. I really hated to see Tom move on, he was an invaluable team member and a significant loss to our organization. If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call.

Letter of Recommendation - Randy Cunningham, Help Desk Manager, Network Business Systems, Anchorage, AK - provided January 12, 2018, for my time of employment under hIs supervision (2010- 2013.)

To Whom It May Concern, I was Tom's supervisor at Network Business Systems and found him to be a very competent computer technician. Tom came to NBS to work on the NBS Remote Site Administrators Helpdesk straight from Charter College October 25, 2010, until January 13, 2013. Tom learned the ins and outs of the NBS Helpdesk and quickly became an asset to the team. He was also assigned a couple of Outsource Clients where he provided Clients with a variety of Onsite Desktop and Application Support. As a member of the NBS Helpdesk, Tom worked one on one with users to resolve issues including those relating to Login, Email, Antivirus, Line of Business Applications and Hardware just to name a few. Software Tom has worked with at NBS includes Windows Server 2003 and 2008, Windows Small Business Server 2003 and 2008, Office XP through 2010, Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Symantec Backup Exec, Symantec Antivirus and Endpoint Protection 11. Hardware includes Dell and HP Servers, Desktops and Laptops, Copiers and Printers from HP, Canon, Brother, Xerox, Ricoh, and Sharp just to name a few.

Personal issues in Tom's family life resulted with him having to miss work enough that we were regretfully forced to replace his position. However, this is not a reflection on Tom's usual reliability and hard work that is typical of him. When Tom's personal issues are resolved he is eligible for rehire with NBS and if another employer does not hire him first, then I look forward to working with him again in the future. Respectfully, Randy Cunningham Network Engineer, Network Business Systems 907-242-5861 11451 Mausel St Eagle River, AK 99577

Letter of Recommendation - Eli Lehrmann, Director of Operations, Alaska Neurology Center, Anchorage AK - Provided January 11, 2023 for my employment under his supervision (2013-2017)

To whom it may concern, It's my absolute pleasure to recommend Mr. Thomas Fidler for a position with your Firm. Mr. Fidler and I worked together at a 75+ Employee, multi-specialty, stand-alone Healthcare Facility for almost four years, where I was his manager and direct supervisor from 2013-2017. I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Mr. Fidler and came to know him as a truly valuable asset to absolutely any team and task.

He is honest, dependable, and incredibly hard-working. Beyond that, he is an impressive problem solver who can address complex IT and/or networking issues with strategy and confidence. Mr. Fidler was inspired by challenges and was never intimidated by them. His knowledge and mastery of Active Directory, Help Desk Ticketing & Resolution, EMR, RFID, and Systems Integrations proved a considerable advantage to the entire facility. He put this skill set to work to decrease our total downtime by over 18% in just one quarter.

I know that Mr. Fidler was a considerable part of the business's success and ability to deliver patient care. The complex and disparate systems in place required Mr. Fidler to work with Enterprise Level Ticketing, CCTV/DVR/IoT Security systems, a Secure Data Center and UPS, VMWare, Citrix, Thin Clients/Desktops, Enterprise Firewalls/Switches, Azure Cloud deployments, Enterprise Exchange and AV, Fiber Optic connections and networking, and various proprietary software applications along with a very demanding and reactive work environment, all of which he grasped and managed at the highest levels of competency. Along with his undeniable talent, Mr. Fidler has always been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is a true team player and always manages to foster positive discussions and bring the best out of other employees. Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Mr. Fidler to join your team. As a dedicated and knowledgeable employee and an all-around great person, I know he will be a beneficial addition to your and any organization.

Please feel free to contact me at any time should you like to discuss Mr. Fidler's qualifications and experience further. I'd be happy to expand on my recommendation. Sincerely, Eli Lehrmann (eslehrmann@gmail.com) Former Operations Manager SMB Healthcare Facility @ Anchorage, AK

Letter of Recommendation - Mark Blair, Information Technology Instructor, Charter College, Anchorage, AK, - provided September 23, 2010 at the completion of my schooling there. (2009 - 2010)

To whom it may concern: I am writing this letter on behalf of Thomas Fidler for the purpose of giving potential employers for this student an external 3rd party perspective on his abilities, skills, and knowledge in IT that he has gained here at Charter College and prior. Mr. Fidler is here at Charter where he is currently enrolled in his final class, Network Defense and Countermeasures: SCP-NDC, with me prior to completing Charter's Networking Certification. He has completed under my instruction four additional courses in his time here, including A+ Fundamentals; Microsoft Server Window Environment, Wireless Essentials, and Hardening the Infrastructure: SCP

I can tell any employer who is considering Mr. Fidler for a position with their organization that if chosen, Mr. Fidler will bring a diverse set of skills to the table. A solid foundation of knowledge in PC hardware, networking topology and protocols, centralized administration, active directory, group policy objects, and many more similar subjects you might expect a diligent student in the ' IT field to have knowledge of. Mr. Fidler is one of my more knowledgeable students, but where I believe Mr. Fidler, most separates himself from others is in his level of participation. I encourage discussion in my classes and I try to facilitate the learning process by challenging and invoking thought in my students. This is not possible without some of the students participating; otherwise, it would only be me lecturing. Many students never join in, a few do and Mr. Fidler has consistently been one of them. He has actively participated in the instruction of my classes by bringing his point of view, prior knowledge, and a fresh perspective to the mix. Mr. Fidler has a positive outlook and is easily to get along with, he is professional, motivated and should be considered as a strong candidate for any position in the IT field that is in the entry to mid level range. Sincerely, Mark Blair
