In summary, I have been in various parts of the electrical industry and have loved every second of learning new things. I love building things with quality, efficiency and safety in mind all the time. I love to work hard and provide customer service by making sure that the end user has a quality electrical system that fits there needs, works great, looks great, and is safe. This is a fascinating trade and I love every part of it from the theory, to the plan, to the install, then to the turnover to the client. I am a hard working, fun, relational, and equipped individual, that strives to continue learning and growing.
I am currently working at Piper Electric as a field service technician. Managed larger projects, leveraging experience and strong customer service skills to enhance client relationships. Over my many years of time at Piper, I have acquired many skills that have helped me become one of the best technicians at our company. Utilized skills in estimating, account management, field management, commercial and industrial construction, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various settings.
At Younglife, I work with Youth students from local area High Schools and Middle Schools. I was in charge of planning clubs, helping lead the area, and coordinating and running a team of other youth leaders reach out to lost kids in schools. I learned about fundraising, team leading, conversational skills, how to run meetings, and build solid long lasting relationships.
During my time here at Greiner Electric, I was a Project Engineer. In this position I learned about running electrical construction projects, permitting, coordinating large scale with other trades and General Contractors. I also learned how to coordinate with BIM modeling for large scale projects such as high rises.
I started out as an Electrical apprentice with Piper Electric. I was in construction for about 8 years or so where I grew into leadership roles and learned to do jobs. I built several decent sized projects for commercial construction and was privileged enough to get to work in Industrial facilities such as Coors, Ball and large pharmaceutical plants. Over these years I learned about installation, testing, and safety measures for all kinds of facilities and projects. We also worked in large high rises, hotels, Comcast and Data centers like Charter Communications.
After this time, I moved into Electrical Estimating (still with Piper), and was able to bid on large projects like Amazon, Charter Communications, Comcast, Industrial Facilities etc.... I received training on estimating programs and Bluebeam. I was trained and had to coordinate Arc Flash Studies and and coordination studies for large projects. I was also trained to read One Line diagrams and P&ID drawings. This is where I received background training with PLC and process instruments.
I was in the EMT program and the Fire Fighting program and received my FF1
