With nearly 15 years of experience at the JR Simplot Company, I have filled various roles and grown within the organization. This extensive tenure has shaped me into the well-rounded person I am today. I am thrilled to apply for the Facilities Director position. Over the past 7 years, serving the Simplot organization as a whole, the family and my team, has been fulfilling. I am proud of the team I work with and the trust we have built together is invaluable. My expertise lies in maintaining and repairing building systems and infrastructure. As a facilities maintenance professional, I have a strong background in ensuring operational efficiency and safety across diverse environments. I possess skills in HVAC systems, electrical repairs, plumbing, and preventative maintenance. I am known for reliability, adaptability, and effective teamwork, I consistently strive for optimal results. My proven ability to seamlessly respond to changing needs allows me to support both our customer and co-workers with ease. I have worked on many projects that include getting multiple bids, hiring of contractors when needed and making sure the job gets done in a safe and timely matter.

Stepping into a leadership role as a manager or director has been a goal of mine for the last several years. I have voiced my desires and ambitions to my leader with the idea of taking on additional tasks. This has led me towards jumping in to leadership and public speaking classes and taking on more responsibility. Since learning should never stop happening, I want to continue to build upon the climate of unmistakable trust. This will continue to add value without adding pressure. There is not a ceiling for growth when it comes to working here at Simplot and I want to continue to learn.

My goal is to keep moving the Facilities Team to the next level while maintaining a safe and unique workplace for everyone to come too.
