Stocking food and donations for the food pantry and warehouse.
Greeted people and dispersed food from the pantry. Also assisted people who either dropped off donations or were looking to purchase items from the warehouse.
I assist in moving larger donated items to and from outside locations.
Selected items in the donation center that would be easier to sell through the internet, and sold them. These items were typically clothing or other items that could easily be organized, packaged and mailed. All proceeds go to the ministry.

Guiding groups of people down class 2-5 whitewater on the Kennebec, Penobscot and Dead rivers. This included:
1. Preparing the base for the guests: making sure pfd's, paddles, helmets, wetsuits etc. are organized and ready for use in the morning.
2. Greeting and organizing guests to prepare for the trip: Giving the greeting and Safety speeches, organizing the guests and gearing them up for the raft trip. Breaking them down into their groups, introducing them to their guides, and getting them on the proper buses to get to the dam (starting point of the whitewater trip).
3. After intensive instruction on safety, swimming, rowing technique, rescue, etc. we began the trip down the river.
4. Guide folks down some serious whitewater while giving some history of the area, and engaging is some friendly conversation for 4 hours!
troubleshooting problems with internet business systems.
I took calls from customers (usually someone in the tech department) who were having difficulties with their internet systems. these could include an myriad of problems for simple issues to reconfiguring routers. This would all be done remotely from my computer at AT&T.
