Thomas Lares

San Antonio,TX

Summary

I'm looking for a full-time position where I can bring my clinical experience and knowledge to a fast-paced acute care setting. I take pride in being part of a team that works together to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality care. My background includes ICU nursing experience, particularly in the LRICU and MICU at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. With 1,536 beds, it's the 8th largest hospital in the state. Working there gave me the chance to care for some of the most critically ill patients. This role sharpened my critical thinking, taught me the importance of precise medication administration, and strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals. I'm passionate about advocating for patients, fostering a supportive team environment, and using my nursing judgement to make timely decisions that positively impact patient outcomes.
