- In addition to my job responsibilities I led the "Fun Times Committee" that planned activities outside of core work times. It allowed the Team to discuss and plan work issues while doing something fun. We planned activities such as bowling, scavenger hunt, drinks and appetizers, and we even planned an overnight Holiday party that was a hit. The company actually gave us a budget for these events and we planned 3 to 4 annually. I also headed a group in which we would do volunteer work outside of work, we worked a local television station taking pledges to raise money for ALS, we also renovated a house for habitat for humanity. These events get the company name out in the news which can lead to positive results for future contracts.
