I come from a immigrant family both of my patients migrated from Europe during the 1920-1930...

We were a traditional family the mother maintained the home for the family..

My father was a printer for a large company working there 40 years and supporting his family.

I was the first member of my family to attend college never mind a professional school,My parents were elated .

I enjoyed pharmacy school and graduated with honors...planned on going to medical school but alas was placed on the waiting list...for the next year.But when next year came I was married with a baby on the way..

I have a long career working at a lot of retail stores and hospitals.I have retired for a year but have the want to get back at it.I feel it is really hard to put a price on experience.

I learned how to play chess at a very young age(8)from a friend of my grandmother.He was in Poland during the Nazi occupation and told me the story that he had to play a game of chess with a German soldier for his life,,I f he won he lived if he lost he died..He remembered every move of that game.He lit the spark in me to play  throuhout my life I have joined chess clubs...now mostly play on-line

 Working out is good for the body,mind and spirit...all of which are important to be successful in the lifetime.

Fishing..I live in Florida surrounded by water..I have owned many boats and enjoy the tranquility of the ocean and the challenge of fishing..Like someone said...a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work...there may be some truth in this but you cannot pay your bills with fish...
