Worked with a variety of students one on one in assisting them with reading, writing and overall organizational skills. Worked closely with my assigned resource teacher along with the content teachers in modifying an accommodating students assignments.

• Implemented diverse instructional strategies to accommodate varied learning styles.
• Assessed student progress through formative and summative evaluations regularly.
• Mentored new teachers on effective classroom management techniques and instructional practices.

Monitor and oversee approximately 32 students in a dormitory wing in order to maintain the protocols and procedures set forth by Exeter Academy; provide leadership and motivation; council and troubleshoot students concerns and monitor monthly progress by maintaining weekly case notes.

Ocean tides offered a "last alternative" for at risk youth who have been in legal trouble on numerous occasions. While employed there I was expected to provide leadership, motivation, supervision, guidance, health and wellness, as well as investigate activities, promote conflict resolution and write analytical reports.
