Thomas Neal

I am a graduate of South Alabama with a major in Political Science and a minor in Sociology. This involved lots of writing and the ability to talk and present presentations. This also involved doing research on multiple topics that I had to write about. I was able to find data to use when writing or presenting my work for the class. I worked as a pool technician where I would check water levels of the pool and add the needed chemicals that were necessary to keep the pool clean. I talked to many customers who had any questions or specific requests for their pools. I was able to keep them as customers while also talking to new customers and explaining what we offer allowing them to want our business. I worked at Adventure island as a crew member where I worked with many costumers helping them with any questions or concerns they had with the park. I would make sure everything was ready to go for each day and restock anything that was needed. As an USSSA certified umpire I do travel tournaments as well as recreational leagues where I work with many different coaches and teams. I’m high stress situations I’m able to communicate and take charge no matter the situation. Doing this allows no confusion during any situation in the game that takes place. I am a member of Pi Kappa Phi where I helped with rush selling the idea of why new members would want to join our fraternity over another. I also participated in many community service events like Tim Tebows Night to Shine, building accessible ramps, and also collected can foods and distributing them. I am a very good writer and my major causes my to write a lot which helped improve my skills to become a very proficient writer. I also learned how to communicate whether that be with new people I had just met who want to rush or presenting my projects in class. I am a hard worker I show up on time and I do what I need to do to get the job done.
