Managed all presses and assembly in a general area of the plant. Show up early to make sure the previous shift did press changes, paperwork and ensured they cleaned up properly before the start of shift. Walk the 15 presses in my area to see if everyone showed up on time with proper p.p.e. Making sure each press runs the right part, rubber and inserts to go with the s.o.p.(standard operating procedure) at each press. Check parts at each press to see if they meet customer requirements. If they don't i must make changes to temps, shooting speeds, pressure and so on to get the press in the right running conditions. If a press gets damaged or dirty I had to buff the press with a buffer or take a grinder to grind out smashed molds. Clean out vacuum and rims on each press. Assessed worker performance to determine operational efficiency. in my zone and put in a system if they can run it, run it but not at rate, or can't keep up with the press. Communicated new company policies to staff and ensured daily adherence through monitoring. Go get material that was ordered but material handlers hadn't brought to the press yet. Cleared trash from workstations to uphold hygiene standards. at every press in my zone. Conducted meetings with chemical suppliers and equipment vendors to discuss new products and ensure alignment with operational needs. Work 7 days a week including holidays.

Check the loader for any damage from previous shift. Check all liquid levels and add if needed adding some. Load 2 hoppers with shredded tires making sure they stay loaded throughout the shift. Load semis with finished rubber and wire obtained through the belt line and magnets from the shredded tires. Keep the yard clean from debris and stack concrete slabs to create walls and enclosures for products to be stored separately for customers. Ensure workers inside maintain a clean working environment by scooping up rubber and wire that have fallen off of conveyors. Run a forklift as well if short on staff. Be the supervisor when he is absent.
