The mission of the Office of Government Contracting (GC): To ensure maximum participation by small, disadvantaged, veteran and woman-owned businesses in federal government contract procurements.


Role:

  • Direct Supervisor for 8 field staff located throughout the South East region of the United States.
  • This staff surveils and assists all of the over 100 Federal Agency Procurement Centers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi and Tennessee.


Most significant Accomplishment:

  • National Program Manager for all data analytics and process improvement projects implemented in the Office of Government Contracting over the last 6 years.
  • With a tiger team of 1 full time and 2 half time and 6 part time members, designed, developed, implemented and maintained the Management Information System used as the procedure, data input and reporting mechanism for all of GC.
  • In 2024 this system tracked 20,000 actions performed by 80 team member across 800 clients.

Role:

  • Primary Administrator for all procurement related software system.
  • Update and maintained 4 Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) related to procurement.


Most significant Accomplishment:

  • In order to mitigate an issue where 90% of the 25 staff were eligible for retirement and 25% had less then 5 years of experience.
  • Developed a software tool that automated the SOPs which:
  • removed redundant tasks.
  • streamlined training of new employees.
  • created consistency, efficiency throughout the team.
  • Provided reporting tools that could be used by management to make strategic and tactical decisions regarding resourcing.

  • Ensured timely fulfillment of contractual requirements while strictly complying with regulatory requirements and factory procedures
  • The Dell custom suite included Dell Media Experience, PowerDVD/Blu-ray, PowerDirect, Power2Go and YouCam products.


Most significant accomplishment:

The Texas facility managed the marketing and technical relationship with Dell which was Cyberlink's largest customer, contributing $30 Million dollars of annual revenue and providing a global show case to prove the viability and value of Cyberlink products to other clients.

  • Tomlinson Holman's eXperiment (THX) custom configuration for Lucas films.
  • Dell Digital Jukebox collaboration with Creative Sound Blaster.

Most significant accomplishment:

In conjunction with Iomega, developed the Fire Fly configuration which was the first complete multi-media Personal Computer sold commercially in the United States. This product integrated an external firewire hard drive, a Television Tuner and RCA video / audio input and output. It included software that enabled timed or live recording, video editing and video production.
