  • Explaining and planning with SCIREMC's members/property owners about what tree maintenance and care is needed to be performed on their property, which directly affects REMC's current power line grid system.

  • Discuss in detail with each individual member/property owner about assessments made for all vegetation along their property within and outside of power line right-of-ways.
  • Advise each cooperative member about the vegetation that does and could potentially affect REMC's electrical power system and what steps are needed to be taken to address all vegetation in each right-of-way.
  • Relaying all notes, details and processes to field supervisors to ensure complete member satisfaction.
  • Planning all tree maintenance processes
  • Planning equipment entrance and exit points of equipment on each property.
  • Determine which pieces of equipment/crews can perform tree maintenance safely, efficiently and effectively
  • Always taking into consideration all members concerns and comments about tree maintenance on their property. Then coming up with best processes that benefits REMC's members and REMC's electrical system.
