Accomplishments

Led a five person project team from two companies which drove to completion the production of high purity chemical delivery system which enabled the completion of the human genome project a decade ahead of schedule.


Led six engineers to develop and bring to market the first low emission chemical transfer system.


As project manager, led a team of eight to develop the first catheter system that allowed for blood free contact with patients for medical personnel.


As chief engineer at Tenneco, established a team of twelve engineers to develop and launch emission control, ride control and elastomeric products. Introduced and coached the team to use APQP principles throughout the development and launch process.


Successfully negotiated a $6.5 MM settlement with Tenneco's customer in South Africa. Also exposed a multi-million dollar embezzlement scheme.


Launched the global program management initiative at Tenneco.


Convinced Ford to award Tenneco their catalytic converter business. This is worth nearly $1 billion in annual sales today.


Started the commercial truck and off highway business within Tenneco. Secured the contracts with Navistar, John Deere and Caterpillar. Today this business unit is nearly $1 billion in revenue. Recruited and led a team of six engineers and a project manager which delivered the diesel emission control products needed by our customers.


Most recently, increased revenue in our OE service business by 35% and have virtually eliminated parts which were losing money either through price increase or discontinuing supply to parts we were no longer obliged to provide.
