  • Began as a volunteer writing coach mainly assisting students in college essays and research papers.
  • As Administrative Assistant continued coaching as well as taking scheduling and responsibilities over the space and safety of students.
  • Advocated to state representatives the importance of having a writing and learning center to support students at the high school level.
  • Helped to organize our visiting writer Jason Reynolds and facilitated a student poetry competition to read at the event.
