Swimming Coach

  • As a swim Coach, I had the chance to work with all levels of swimmers, some of whom had no experience in the pool to years of built-up experience in the water. I was able to use my decades of experience in the pool to help develop and guide my pupils whom I worked with almost every day, to not only help them improve in the pool and reach their swimming goals but to teach them a work ethic and focus on the details. As well as the life lessons of self-improvement and working hard to achieve their goals in and out of their time in the pool.
  • One experience that I learned was learning how to work with people that I wouldn't otherwise get along with outside of my job. I feel that this has helped me over the long term because it has made me better at working in a group of people that have many differences and still being proficient in those environments.
