Dynamic and resilient professional with a diverse background, including event planning at Appalachian State and hands-on farm management. Excelled as a collegiate athlete, honing time management and problem-solving skills. Adept at collaborating with teams of over 40, showcasing exceptional team working abilities and a knack for innovative project planning. As well as hands on activity in the forestry field spending countless hours studying pesticides, soil, plants and animals and have worked on a farm where I have learned to apply those ideas by growing and managing crops and helping run farm equipment.
I work with Student Athlete Advisory Committee where I serve as the Co-Head of Event Planning where I put together events that happen throughout the course of the collegiate athletic season. I have to work together with over 40 people to hear out all ideas and formulate ideas from many ideas. I also work with other department withing SAAC to brainstorm ways to better the welfare of student athletes.
I have worked on a farm for the last year where I have learned how to run farm equipment, plant different variations of crops, management the crops in both greenhouses and in tradition fields, properly store fruits and vegetables and planning projects around the farm.
I have played 4 years of collegiate football. 2 with North Carolina State University and 2 with Appalachian State University. During this time I learned how to manage my time down to the smallest details. As well as I learned many lessons of resilience and how to take criticism and turn it into progress. I have also learned how to execute under pressure and come up with fast solutions on the move.
I worked with Operation Christmas Child at a local community center to collect and package items that were sent to children across the world. It brought together teammates who also wanted to help to give back to those children.
