Verizon Edge Services and Applications (VESA) is the Verizon common service framework that works consistently across various MEC environments with common interfaces and orchestration. Its server at central component for MEC application integrate and services
- Worked as system integrators and built several Computer Vision applications to demonstrate how third parties can easily integrate into the VESA/MEC framework. The demo was very successful and presented to the Executive's team, as well as in the organization.
- Collaboration of several 5G devices for integration into MEC/VESA components. These devices like 5G Cameras, 5G routers, IP Cameras , and integrated into Public MEC and Private MEC.
- Worked closely with manufacturers to support features like RTPS on TLS for 5G Camera, Docker container for 5G router, Docker container/Kubernetes support for several devices for data streaming.
- Worked with customers vendor for needs analysis and to determine vendor costs/product road map.
- Aided in system engineering duties, providing input on hardware and networking design architecture.
- Demonstrated/Integrated end to end solution. Streaming data from 5G Camera on 5G mmWave to MEC, passed through VESA framework, and processed by Third Party application . Currently have this setup in Boston Innovation Lab for customer visit.
Edge Discovery Service Platform (EDS) is one of the components of Verizon Solutions & Applications (VESA) is the Verizon common service framework. Edge Discovery Service (EDS) is a RESTful API that would allow application developers to discover, deploy, manage, and orchestrate applications and services on MEC platforms at the network edges
- Responsible for design and implementation Edge Discovery Service Client SDK , EDS SDK Client provides optimal MEC endpoint to the application to reduce latency and brings real-time performance to high-bandwidth applications
Verizon Internet Service Platform(VISP) The platform supports diverse internet traffic, including HTTPS, IPv4, and IPv6. It has per-flow control, contextual awareness, and a self-service portal, coupled with unified billing capabilities
- Responsible for design and implementation flow manager, TCP optimization
- This task includes in deep packet inspection, debug flow control on customer side, manage each TCP packet to the right rule engine
- Responsible for design and implementation of flow manager for Video Optimization
- This task includes packet inspection of video stream, transfer packet to video stream optimization engine, work on customer side to make sure video quality was delivered
