Originally hired as a help desk, tech level one. As one member of a six person team, I slowly worked my way up through each position, in many cases assuming the role. By the time I left Bush Industries, Inc. it was only myself and my supervisor maintaining that workload for several years. During that time I strived to bring Bush Industries inline with NIST (National Institute Standards and Technology) compliance.
Created an MS database to track IT assets as they were received and processed at various locations. This greatly improved efficiency of front desk personnel fielding calls, receiving and releasing equipment back to the various National Guard Units of the State of Texas. Setup and maintained classified networks, as well as received training in Interoperable Communications System (ISICS) to support normally siloed support elements arriving at a disaster site. Deployed to the Balkans as the lead technician of a team of six in support of a multi-national brigade sized element.
Worked as a helicopter Electrical, Armament, Avionics technician on Apache Helicopters. Cross-trained on Blackhawk Helicopters. Did extensive battle damage repair to an Apache damaged during the beginning of the war '03. Worked overtime for Boeing conducting modifications to Circuit-Breaker Panels on Apache Helicopters.
