• Lead advocacy and policy initiatives at the federal level on key social justice issues, including gun violence prevention, voting rights, missing and murdered Black women, and caregiving.

• Created and advocated for the passing of Huntsville's 1st ordinance, prioritizing affordable housing investments in the City of Huntsville for extremely low incomers and those experiencing homelessness.
• Helped create an "unhoused" municipal court docket jail diversion program
• Successfully advocated for reasonable accommodations in partnership with SPLC & ADA for 80 disabled unhoused individuals during encampment evictions
• Served over 125 unhoused individuals bi-weekly hot nutrient meals and free health clinc support
• Appointed as Huntsville, AL's continuum of care policy lead
