• Participation in several cataract efforts carried out by Hoftalon in the period from 2011 to 2019, in which screening consultations and referrals for preoperative exams were carried out, with the objective of promoting a short waiting time for surgical treatment for cataract correction in patients from the Unified Health System (SUS) in the city of Londrina and other regions of the state of Paraná. 

• Participation in the Primeiros Olhares Project, which performs screening, diagnosis and treatment of refractive errors in children aged 0 to 5 years enrolled in schools in poor communities in the city of Londrina, Paraná. The action consists of the displacement of a team of doctors, technicians and nursing assistants to the neighborhood where the Child Education Center is located, where all the adapted devices are taken, thus setting up an office within the school space. Eye exams are offered free of charge. Participation in the period from 2011 to 2018. 

• Participation in the Glaucoma Project, with the aim of promoting this silent disease, which is the second biggest cause of irreversible blindness. Project carried out in conjunction with a multiprofessional team made up of doctors and technicians who travel to different places giving lectures, as well as free examinations and referrals regarding the disease, favoring information, prevention and early diagnosis. Participation in the period from 2011 to 2015.
