Summary

Welcome! I am Tiahna, a discerning and relational professional with 10 years of experience in Executive Engagement, Facilitation, Organizational Efficiency and Client Experience.

My Mission: To elevate and nurture how we operate, communicate, and connect; improving operational success and client relations.

My Values:

  • Integrity- Every decision and action is formulated out of honest, sincere and ethical intention. At times, all of us learn of moments in which our past behaviors were born of ignorance or shortsightedness, giving us opportunity to recognize our mistakes, honor the harm they may have caused, express remorse for our actions and grow into a more whole and thoughtful person and teammate.
  • Iterative Thinking- Success is rarely achieved on the first go. Taking each step in the development process as an opportunity to better understand what we didn't know, examine what didn't work, apply new principles and reformat product for relaunch is a necessary part of taking a new idea and creatively curating an imaginative industry shaking product.
  • Adaptability- Change is the most predictable part of our lives and learning how to manage that change with grace and fluidity provides one with a skillful approach to thriving in the ever evolving environments that we exist in. Knowing how to navigate a pivot with a clear mind, productive action plan and articulate direction will build trust, create high-performance teams and open up your access to accelerated growth.
  • Lifelong Learning- The world is a beautifully complex place with more knowledge to be gained than a lifetime gives us opportunity for. There will always be something to study. As a lifelong learner we commit ourselves to the notions that 1) we do not know all and therefore require the support and input of those around us and 2) we must remain curious and open to accepting our own unawareness as teachable opportunity.

Personal Note

I am originally from Northern Michigan and as such have a heart for being on or near the water whenever possible. I am a first generation college graduate and after the arduous task of learning on the spot how to apply for university, I developed a passion for providing students support in understanding the complexities of college admissions and financial aid. I love good coffee, a well crafted gin and tonic, sports of all sorts, most any animal and a solid 4 seasons! (None of that summer all the time stuff for me.) I am an extrovert through and through, finding energy and life in the moments I am given to connect with those I know and those I have yet to know. My extroverted energy lends itself to navigating New York City and the ease with which I've built a loyal and beautiful community of diverse and unique friends. I am new to golf and excited to apply the skills I picked up last summer in the season ahead!
