I'm a teacher and childcare provider. I also work in assisting my directors/superiors with any/all tasks they need completed. While teaching, I work with children 3 to 5 years of age. It’s my job to identify behavioral, emotional, developmental and learning challenges children may be facing, set up a plan with other teachers and their families that will guide the child to achieve success. I do lesson planning, prep work, engage with families, children and staff members on a regular basis. I also did some secretary work for a short time while school was searching for a replacement.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• Supervised and trained team of 5 staff members while leading my own class of 20-25 children.
• Achieved lead teacher status by working with accuracy, efficiency and reliability.
• Achieved assistant managing status of 1-2 classrooms through effectively accomplishing director(s) tasks on a daily basis.
• Communicates effectively and efficiently in order to achieve tasks.
• In charge of scheduling and lesson planning for following weeks.

I've served as a live-out nanny for a family working with their two boys, one since infancy and the other since the age of 2, since 2016. Creating a nurturing, healthy environment for the children and a long term commitment with the family. I accomplish many tasks such as cooking, cleaning, school work, and taking children out for activities/trips.

GOALS:

• Build positive and nurturing environments to support child social and emotional growth.
• Facilitate relationships with children and parents by developing caring and structured home environments.
• Balance play time and screen time and organize age appropriate activities to support child’s development.
• Teach children everyday skills and language.
• Identify warning signs of emotional and developmental problems in children.
• Worked with parents to develop and implement discipline programs to promote positive behavior.
