I am committed, reliable, and creative in the roles I have had in the past. I excelled in roles requiring excellent customer service skills, such as a Starbucks barista and a coach at RS Tennis Academy, which required communication, teamwork, and the ability to thrive under pressure. I demonstrated leadership as a co-president of the Notre Dame CLIMATE Club, and as a cabin leader, driving impactful initiatives and fostering collaboration while leading a group.
I worked as a Starbucks barista at the De Anza and Peninsula & Delaware location. I learned excellent customer service skills, I work well under pressure, and I enjoy helping customers. I am very adaptable, can handle numerous tasks at a time, am quick at learning new tasks, and following company procedures. I worked 40+ hours a week during the summers, and 22+ hours a week during the school year while I was a student.
I was co-president of the Notre Dame Climate Club. I communicated and collaborated with other nearby private schools in the Bay Area and other organizations to plan activities and promote divestment.
I worked as a junior coach at RS Tennis Academy. I would train and supervise a group of kids, ages 5 to 18, to help sharpen their skills and techniques for tournaments. I would lead big group warm-ups and group games.
I was on the Notre Dame Belmont 2022 and 2023 Earth Week Planning Committee. I helped organize many school events, such as trash wars, giving class points for less trash, completing the Earth Week bulletin board, and promoting Earth Week and eco-friendly ways.
I volunteered as a cabin leader for San Mateo County Outdoor Education. I guided and oversaw a group of over one dozen fifth-grade boys throughout a week-long, overnight program. I ensured their safety and well-being by facilitating meals, supervising hygiene routines, and making sure they were punctual and prepared for each day's outdoor activities.
I worked during the summer of 2022, where I aided and helped supervise children ages 5 to 10 while they improved their tennis skills. In the afternoons, I supervised them in an Uber on the way to a community pool. I supervised and entertained the kids until their parents came to pick them up in the evening.
I worked as the assistant coach for the varsity and junior varsity tennis team players. I was able to help the players sharpen their skills and perfect their techniques for the upcoming season.
