I am a trained ecologist with a diverse background in marine ecology, herpetology, and ornithology. I am experienced and efficient in both field and lab work. I have conducted research on both marine invertebrates and amphibians. As an avid birder, I am familiar with hundreds of species found in North America and have served as a volunteer in a migration banding station. I see public communication as an important part of conservation research as it helps increase public awareness and potentially funding. Therefore, I have been very active on social media, promoting the conservation of both wildlife and their habitats through my photography and words.
