Tiara Strickland

Undergraduate student majoring in Biology at the George Washington University. I am currently completing my fourth year of undergraduate school and aim to get a Bachelor of Science degree in May of 2025. I first became interested in public health after the COVID-19 pandemic. I was able to understand the interrelations of biology and public health from a firsthand experience which was intriguing. The research that supported the final identification of the infectious agent was very interested. Some of my specific interest in public health focuses on virology and immunology. I would like to learn mor about the underlying research that supports public health decisions and to earn my Masters in Public Health. I believe that obtaining this degree will provide many future career opportunities as well gaining the knowledge to be successful while working in this field.
