• Obtain, document, and monitor patient vital signs, reporting changes to registered nurses and surgeons for further investigation.
• Protected patients from infection by setting up and managing sterile operating fields.
• Assists with providing care and support in transitional stages of transfers from preoperative, operating room, and the recovery unit.

Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit

• Conducted electrocardiogram, using electronic test equipment and recording devices.
• Identified and documented data trends of pacers and AICDs, analyzing results and reporting issues.
• Supported healthcare team by maintaining responsibility for electrocardiogram monitoring, defibrillation and cardio rehabilitation training.
