Passionate about the transformative power of physical therapy, I am a Kinesiology major with a concentration in Exercise Science at the University of Alabama. My primary focus lies within the sports realm, where I aspire to make a difference in the lives of athletes. In addition to my passion for physical therapy, I am deeply committed to promoting health equity and empowerment within the Black community. Addressing the systemic barriers that exist in healthcare is essential in creating a more equitable society. By raising awareness and advocating for equal access to quality healthcare, my goal is to bridge the gap and ensure that individuals within the Black community have access to the resources they need to thrive. Furthermore, I believe in the power of blending the arts of social justice and the science of physical therapy. By incorporating principles of social justice into my practice, I aim to create a more inclusive and accessible environment for everyone, regardless of their background or circumstance. This intersection allows me to utilize my skills and passion to contribute to a more just and equitable healthcare system.
