• In my role as the PDC. My job is to make sure all staff members receive their mandatory education required annually under Department of Public Health regulations. I am also responsible for implementing Competencies and In-services that is required for plan of corrections and as a refresher course with in a particular skill set.
• Under my infection control role I play a major part in teaching Antibiotic Stewardship, capturing infections, monitoring antibiotics and MDROs. I am responsible for offering and administering vaccines and uploading in CTWIZ
• Assisted physicians with patient care by taking vital signs, administering injections and performing other nursing duties.
