My goal is to be able to work with others with both a compassionate and empathetic heart helping those needing assistance to further, strengthen, and possibly rebuild their lives. My passion is to be able to assist those who may need guidance on reaching their goals while coping with physical addiction or mental health barriers by using my own personal healing experience with both mental health and recovery.

• Provided compassionate support and guidance to individuals in need within the community, focusing on recovery and human services.
• Collaborated with church leaders and fellow volunteers to develop and implement recovery programs and initiatives.
• Conducted individual and group coaching sessions to facilitate personal growth, healing, and resilience.
• Began a Celebrate Recovery workshop with church leaders to become CR certified in order to begin a weekly meeting in the community. Took up offering to help pay for bed fees for community members who were going into treatment and did not have enough funds; also oversaw funds to be used for gas to transport community members to treatment up to 3 hours away.

• Volunteered at a weekly food bank organized by the church, focused on providing hot meals to individuals and families in need.
• Assisted in the preparation, distribution, and serving of nutritious meals to ensure that recipients received sustenance and support.
• Demonstrated empathy and respect when interacting with individuals accessing the food bank, fostering a welcoming and non-judgmental environment.
• Offered inpatient and outpatient treatment to individuals in active addiction.

• Collaborated with church leaders to begin a clothing closet (The Blessing Room) to help others in the community who were in need of clothing, blankets, food, shoes, and necessities.
• Managed and operated clothing closet that provided clothing and accessories to individuals in need.
• Oversaw the organization and maintenance of the clothing closet, ensuring a clean and well-organized space.
• Received and sorted donated clothing items, ensuring they were in good condition and suitable for distribution. Developed and implemented a system for categorizing and displaying clothing items, making it easy for individuals to find what they need.
• Collaborated with volunteers to manage the day-to-day operations of the clothing closet.
