Results driven team member with a strong sense of curiosity and the ability to learn quickly, I am proficient at adapting to changing environments and manuver situations with ease. My determination is the driving force behind my achievements. When faced with obstacles, I refuse to succumb to defeat. Instead, I channel my energy into finding alternative solutions and persevering until I succeed.
The common consensus when it comes to authoring your resume, is that it should be tailored to the specific job you’re seeking. I personally don’t share that ideology. Over time I’ve come to 3 conclusions.
From my perspective, people are frequently disappointed using the “happy career” model. Setting course on a one-way path can only end up one of 2 ways. You never regret an opportunity you went for and failed; you regret the bypassed opportunities you might have succeeded at
Presenting diversity in skillset could be beneficial. The thing is, we all work differently. Maybe you’re seeking a job you’re willing to make and adventure out of, and maybe you’ll get lucky and find just the right employer willing to take a risk. It’s a permutation no matter how you look at it. Whether you end up in an interview with an employer who insists on x-amount of experience, or an employer who decides perhaps it’s worth taking the time to show you the ropes.
An employer must sell the job, an employee must market themselves... if you want to succeed you can’t sell yourself short. In essence, while my future employer might have an idea of what they’re seeking, I too have an idea of what I’m in search of.
