BSN-prepared Registered Nurse with five years of diverse clinical experience across rural and acute care settings. I bring a strong analytical approach to patient care supported by an extensive background in nutrition, a Master of Public Health, and current graduate-level nursing education. My interdisciplinary training enhances my ability to translate complex clinical data into clear, patient-centered education and evidence-based decision-making.
I began my nursing career in a small rural hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, where I developed a broad skill set while managing high-acuity patients, rapidly changing protocols, and limited resources. This environment required adaptability, critical thinking, and the ability to assume multiple roles while maintaining accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance.
As a travel nurse, I further expanded my clinical expertise by floating across multiple units and specialties in different hospital systems. I regularly care for acute, stroke, and medically unstable patients, requiring strong assessment skills, precise documentation, and the ability to synthesize clinical information to support care decisions quickly. This experience has strengthened my ability to learn new workflows, electronic health records, and organizational processes efficiently.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus on midwifery and women’s health, and long-term goals of leading and managing my own advanced practice.
