- Develop and implement policies and procedures within the department
- Ensure that each appeal received is addressed by the ARB and/or CAD in accordance to the Texas Property Tax Code
- Maintain arbitration, correction motion, and protest files
- Build and distribute reports to taxing jurisdictions quarterly in reference to active and/or settled litigation within the District
- Communicate information in a professional manner to attorneys, arbitrators, tax collectors, property tax consultants, ARB members, property owners, staff and public officials
- Train multiple staff in several departments every year prior to and during protest season
- Manage, train, assign workloads, and address concerns for up to 20 department staff
- Maintained litigation files from 2012 – 2017 and am still called upon to assist the Litigation Department and FBCAD attorneys as necessary
- Timely and accurately complete any/all assignments as required by the Chief Appraiser.

- Seven and a half years in managerial role as the ARB / Arbitration Operations Manager for the District.
- Level IV Registered Professional Appraiser with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
- Developed and implemented policies and procedures, in accordance with the Texas Property Tax Code, in regards to the District’s appeal process.
- Implemented organization and structure within the department.
- Proficient in all Appraisal District software applicable to my position including but not limited to Orion, CRS, Microsoft Applications, Adobe Pro, Audacity, and Fort Bend County Case Records Database (Tyler Technologies)
