-Conducts maintenance and repair activities on the F-35C aircraft with a thorough understanding of military operations under COMNAVAIRFORINST
4790.2E and 4790.35.
-Ensures aircraft are in exceptional mechanical condition and safe for flight by performing maintenance, inspections, and servicing requirements on all aircraft systems in accordance with JTD publications and all applicable program and service guidance.
-Performs troubleshooting, and repair of system failures detected during operational checks associated with maintenance and restoration of aircraft to flying condition after accomplishment of modifications and maintenance.
-Performs required Airframe and Powerplant General (APG) tasks as part of F-35 Contractor Logistics Support (CLS).
-Maintains and updates aircraft records and operational status within the ALIS Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) accurately while effectively communicating critical updates to the production staff to support mission readiness.
-Interprets and uses various test equipment from wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, job guides, and maintenance manuals.
