• Completed 120 hours on a med-surge unit. I worked under the supervision of Kalon Waldrop, RN.

Tasks included: Medication administration, maintaining IV drips, performing dressing changes, inserting NG tubes, and assisting with bedside procedures.

• Completed 480 clinical hours at UAB Hospital, Children's of Alabama Hospital, Grandview Hospital, and Bibb County Hospital. Clinical settings included: orthopedic units, GISU, trauma med-surge units, emergency room, CICU, telemetry units, GI surgery, neuro med-surge units, labor and delivery units, and NICU.
• Managed multiple tasks simultaneously while providing quality care.
• Responded to emergency situations with speed, expertise and level-headed approaches to provide optimal care, support and life-saving interventions.
• Assessed patient responses to treatments or interventions promptly.
• Partnered with registered nurses to perform specified patient care activities.
• Administered oral, IV and intra-muscular medications and monitored patient reactions.
