Dedicated, compassionate, and highly motivated professional with strong experience in childcare, community service, leadership, and psychology. I am a committed student with a 3.6 GPA, demonstrating discipline, curiosity, and a genuine passion for understanding human behavior and helping others. I completed my Associate’s Degree at Queensborough Community College while balancing work, family responsibilities, and community involvement, and I am now earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD in Psychology, and I am continuously building the academic foundation, research skills, and applied experience necessary to reach that level. I bring both educational insight and real-world understanding to every role I take on.
With over 2.5 years of childcare experience working with the Iniguiz family, I have developed a strong ability to support children’s emotional growth, guide behavior effectively, and maintain a safe, structured environment. I create engaging learning experiences, teach emotional regulation, and build trust through patience, consistency, and genuine care. My background in developmental and behavioral psychology enhances my approach and allows me to support children with intention and empathy.
I also hold valuable managerial experience as an Assistant Manager at Michoacana Pedir de Boca, where I helped open and run the business during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when many small businesses were struggling. Despite the circumstances, I contributed to building a stable, successful operation by providing excellent customer service, training staff, maintaining product quality, and ensuring smooth daily operations. My leadership, organization, and ability to stay calm under pressure helped the business thrive, develop loyal customers, and grow consistently. This role strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
My community service experience includes being an active NYPIRG member for two semesters, participating in advocacy work and helping distribute food to underserved neighborhoods. These experiences reflect my commitment to social justice, public service, and supporting my community in meaningful, hands-on ways.
Across every environment, academic, community, childcare, customer service, and management, I am known for my strong work ethic, emotional intelligence, and ability to build positive, supportive relationships with others. I bring knowledge from my psychology education, leadership experience from managing a business, and compassion from my childcare and community work. Driven, reliable, and prepared to continue growing professionally, I aim to contribute my skills, insight, and dedication to any role that values empathy, responsibility, and continuous improvement..
