Summary

I am a hard worker and am always eager to learn new things to better myself both professionally and personally. I put my all into everything I do and will always put my best self forward. I take pride in everything I do and I am a quick learner. I feel that with the experience I have gained over the past couple years I would do very well in the position of Kitchen Manager. And I would love the opportunity to advance to the next stage within the department.

Pharmacy Technician

Roeschens Omnicare Pharmacy
10.2010 - 03.2015
  • I worked in the DLT department. Our department was responsible for getting the controlled substance prescriptions for the patients in the nursing homes that we were contracted with. I would contact the doctor's office via phone or fax to get written prescriptions. We would also page the doctors to give verbal orders to the pharmacists. I would call the nurses at the nursing home to give them authorization numbers to pull medications from their controlled substance boxes to get the patient through until we could get the medication delivered to them. I would answer phones calls as the nursing home staff was calling in to check on orders. I would help the order entry department enter in new prescriptions and orders when they were backed up.

Pharmacy Technician

People's Drug
01.2005 - 06.2010
  • I would wait on the customers and take their prescriptions or refill their prescription bottles. I would enter them into the computer and print out the labels. I would count out their medication and set it aside for the pharmacist to check. I would then check out the customer and get their signature for the medications. I answered phones and took verbal orders. I would then write them up and the pharmacist would check them. I filed the written prescriptions, put the orders away, organized the medication bottles, and cleaned the pharmacy when needed. I would help fill the orders for the nursing homes, they were all in daily blister packs instead of bottles.
