  • I started my career at Maple Shade HS as a self-contained Science Teacher, teaching Biology and Physical Science to both High School and Middle School Students.
  • I also taught as a Biology inclusion teacher for one period a day plus lab.
  • I was asked the following year, 2013 to take over the Multiple Disabled Program.
  • I worked with middle school students in the morning and high school students in the afternoon, teaching them Science, Social Studies, Math, Language Arts, Independent Living Skills, Daily Living Skills, School Based Internship.
  • Over the years I helped developed our program's Coffee Shop, where the kids learned how to become baristas and delivered coffee to staff members. The learned how to take, read and fulfill orders, deliver the coffee, exchange/count money and keep a ledger.
  • I also started the work program for our HS students in our cafeteria. Where the students would work daily and build their skill set to help them get jobs when they graduated.
  • I have many years experience working with non-verbal students who utilize AAC devices. I am familiar with a number of devices and apps for communication.
