• Perform TEE on pediatric & adult patients with/without congenital heart disease in hospital & clinical setting for IN/OUT patients

* Assists cardiologist in performing TEE on structural heart interventions in the OR & Cath lab

• Scan in different environments including ICU and Cath lab to include pre/post-operative echocardiograms; roughly 8 congenital/10 non congenital per shift.
• Communicate with cardiologist concerning critical results
• Prior to exam, obtain patient's medical/surgical history and relate relevant information to physician
• Utilize Doppler technologies including continuous wave, pulsed wave and color Doppler technologies to assess velocities of blood flow, stenosis and regurgitation

* Trained on proper knobology to maximize image quality for accurate visualization of cardiac structures Responsible for obtaining patient history at time of exam - height, weight, blood pressure, and cardiac
surgeries/procedures performed on patient

• Participate in on call rotation
• Communicate with fellow sonographers, physicians & cardiac fellows regarding echo findings
