Train Team Members and Managers on the sales floor about selling practices, product knowledge, department efficiency. I would travel to/video conference with stores around the country to help them improve their sales in multiple categories or help get new Team Members up to speed faster so there wouldn't be a drop in production. Was expected to work with Excel, Powerpoint, and Word to help grab store sales information or set up presentations.
I worked with Team Members and Customers on their issues. For example, if a customer was unhappy with their dogs haircut, I would work with them to find a solution that would work with them and continue their business with the company. I also worked on the sales floor at the same time so I also produced sales and upsold on multiple occasions. Team Members relied on me to help them with either customer issues or personal issues. If I was the closing manager, I was also expected to count money for the day and submit records of the money that went into the safe.
I worked door to door sales doing sales presentations to have customers purchase product from me. I also did cold calls to set up appointments and these presentations lasted upwards of 1 hour. I had to learn the product within a week and do my presentations from there.
