- Collaborated with team members to refine project strategies and ensure alignment with senior management objectives.
- Worked with Pre-Construction Team to establish GCs, allowance and contingency amounts and help to solicit trade partner participation for bid packages. Attended pre-construction meetings with clients and A/E team to present budget and thereafter worked to see contracts through execution. Thereafter I worked with PM team to get contracts out and began submittal and job start-up process.
- Worked w/ HGC Executive Leadership & Sr. PM Team across the Carolinas to see new policy/procedures vetted prior to being rolled out.
- At one year mark with Harper GC, Executive leadership approached me about the need to help with a project that had been underway for several years and needed a final push to meet soft opening deadline. The Regional Supt. is already heavily involved in other work underway and the client demanded senior field leadership on-site. Harper GC asked if I’d consider filling this role I accepted and transitioned to full on-site presence to work with 6 members of the field team and project management team

- Assisted in preconstruction efforts by reviewing drawings through design stages & providing feedback for additional details needed. Performed site visits and assessments with design team and trade partners to discover unknowns and tighten budgets.
- Worked with in-house estimator where we hard bid project for a new client and were successful in winning bid. Worked with bid team on contract award and hand-off to Supt. assigned that project.

- Started as Project Engineer bidding work, writing scopes to subcontractors and later awarding work and processing submittals, COI and working with project management team to support trade partners and field staff.
- Transitioned from office to field role, with first position as Superintendent on military base where I was responsible for constructing 2 Medium Battalion HQ buildings for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers @ Ft. Bragg.

- Worked on bidding/awarding multiple jobs where scopes of work were developed from review of drawings and were used to solicit turn-key bids from subcontractors while also assembling in-house bids to validate numbers prior to bid day.
- Worked as subcontractor for another division as the Steel subcontractor (F&I) where we self-performed steel erection of a church building in greater D.C. area with in-house union ironworkers. I was responsible for coordinating with WT Supt. on any field issues, arranging deliveries from fabricator and coordinating equipment and manpower to facilitate erection of the structural steel package. Also responsible for misc. metals package this location as well as another project inside D.C.
