Worked with customers to design their mail to meet automation postage discounts, along with improving designs so their mail ran smoothly on automated Postal equipment. Provided educational seminars to customers at events, and when Postal updates were implemented. Gave tours of our processing plant and communicated with customers in person, by phone, email and mailing letters. Also helped

Educate our employees to new changes. During this time, I saved the Postal Service a great deal of revenue by improving mail flow and reducing the handling of mail.

Managed Postal Vehicle Maintenance facility with 8 direct employees, mechanics and clerks. Oversaw services and repair of Postal vehicles for approximately 40 Post Offices and over 500 vehicles. Our employees brought vehicles in from local and outlying offices for repairs and services. Offices further out utilized contractors for repairs and services. We mailed parts to them to support them, and often retrieved vehicles they were unable to repair. Vehicle types ranged from Postal LLV’s that were almost 40 years old, to new combustion and electric vehicles. Regular services needed to be maintained, along with breakdowns on routes and daily repairs at local stations.
