Duties included payroll, billing and coding procedures, negotiating contracts with hospitals, and negotiating contracts with insurance companies. Maintaining malpractice insurance. *Utilizes EMR (e.g., Meditech, Epic) to complete in-depth physical exams on patients preparing to have surgical procedures performed. Contracted to Thomas Memorial Hospital and WVU medicine.

*Performed first assistant duties on ever changing surgical landscape in multiple specialties. Early career showed the transition from open surgical cases to laparoscopic surgery increasing the skill level needed to first assist. *Conducted history and physical exams to assess patient's health and current condition prior to surgery for optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction. *Started PICC line team with over fifteen hundred PICC lines performed. Trained physician assistant staff to perform PICC line procedure.
