- Leadership & managerial oversight of the Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Control & Planning teams ; daily priorities to meet on-time delivery requirements
- Develops short and long term strategies for staffing requirements, sourcing opportunities & overall cost reduction/containment.

- Partner with Sales to generate Slow Moving Inventory reports, and in conjunction with Operations analyze for material disposition.
- Analyze inventory levels by product, quantity, values, AMU & sync for Operations, Purchasing & Planning in continuous effort to minimize inventory value.
- Coordinate multi-department team to execute end of year inventory/work order closure activities.
- Incorporate Lean Principles relative to inventory management and free cash flow.
- Managed subordinates and gave directives, drafted schedules and comprehensively evaluated performance.
- Maintained material control and information systems, supporting manufacturing and balancing inventory surpluses with customer demand.
- Backup trade compliance duties for import log & approval of export paperwork
- Support Production Planning "clear to build" analysis to assure PO's are in place to support production build plan, while assuring inventory growth is minimized.
- Partner with multi-department team (Sales/Program Management, Operations, Purchasing, Finance) for strategic risk buy analysis.
- Monitor and escalate when necessary, excessive material movement delays at incoming inspection and NCR disposition.
- SAP subject matter expert (SME) for Supply Chain & other operational organizations.
- Drive ERP system improvements (SAP issues list).
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
