*Supervise, train, coach and assist efforts of nine maintenance staff with proven teamwork skills and ability to work independently. Ensure tasks for entire plant warehouses at two divisions are performed safely and timely.

*Troubleshoot machinery and production equipment, electrical systems, PLC's, solid state motor drives, overhead traveling cranes, and hydraulic circuits. Monitor efficiency and precision of cut to length process, slitter and laser cutting equipment.

*Complete partial or full dismantling of equipment to quickly repair or replace defective components and restore functionality.

*Cooperate closely with purchasing and operations managers to procure pricing information to support cost-effectiveness.

Track parts inventories and system upgrades.

*Provide guidance to management regarding project bids for onsite improvements while maintaining relationships with outside contractors, vendors and foreman.

*Repair sheet metal equipment within manufacturing processes, manual and CNC controlled. Press brakes, shears, punch press, lasers, mills, etc.

*Fabricate metal including critical measurement, cutting, machining and installation.

*Monitor operation of plant equipment and systems. Identify defective parts, solve problems timely to minimize downtime.

*Interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, mechanical and electrical diagrams.

*Troubleshoot industrial control circuits, control relays, motor starters, induction motors, disconnect switches.
